Rose pruning

Rose garden

Hybrid tea’s, floribunda’s, ramblers and climbers – Roses can be a bit daunting when faced with all these different terms. They all require different pruning methods and times. When I’m working in your Buckinghamshire garden and looking after your Roses, you can rest assured I will take care of them in the right way at the right time.

My year round garden maintenance service allows me to prune at the right times. As an example, the image above is Roses that were pruned twice in a year – Autumn and Late Winter / Early Spring.

Pruned by a third in Autumn to help protect from wind-rock (high winds) and any snow we may get. Pruned again in late winter / early spring for shape, to give them an open goblet like structure. The result is just fantastic:

I have experience pruning many types of roses, training them along walls and archways, and more.
If your Roses could do with some much needed TLC then please contact me today and I’ll be happy to help.
