Who I work with and how I can help.

I work with people with busy lifestyles that don’t have the time to dedicate to their garden. Whether you have a passion for gardening but struggle to find the time to do all the necessary tasks to keep it looking its best year round, or perhaps you are new to gardening, but dream of looking outside at your garden and feeling revitalised by it – I can help.

What I can help you with

Garden design

You don’t need to know anything about gardening to have a colourful, wildlife friendly garden that you love spending time in. I use the principal of right plant, right place to ensure a vibrant garden you can relax in.

Garden maintenance

My passion is plants. Managing a garden is about doing the right thing at the right time, and that is the approach I follow when working in a client’s garden. I have years of experience managing both small and large gardens over multiple acres.

Pruning

I enjoy tackling specialist pruning jobs such as Wisteria’s, Roses, fruit trees and more. The proper pruning, performed at the right time can make a significantly enhance  the flowering and fruiting plants. For instance, it can mean the difference between a Wisteria full of bloom or one with none at all.

Garden mentoring service

If you have a new garden and want to learn how to care for it yourself, I can help!
My mentoring service includes in-person visits tailored to your garden. I’ll equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain it throughout the year.

  • Loving how this design is coming into its own in the summer!
  • Pruned by myself in late winter, it is now flowering profusely, and what a flower it has!

  • Little project I am working on
  • Garden design starting to come into flower. Everything is very dry here still. Soil is like dust.
  • Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna' remains the queen of all the Salvias in my opinion. Taken from design I did.
  • First spring for this garden I designed and it's already looking great, though very dry! We need some rain.
  • The light today coming through the trees lit this Cotinus beautifully

Ben has only been working in my (very large and previously rather messy) garden for a few months but I can already see the improvements that his skills are making.
I would thoroughly recommend him.”
